Rare Dutch Modernist 'De Stijl' wall shelving display unit, bought at Metz & Co in Amsterdam in 1950s

The style is reminiscent to the works of Nisse Strinning (Sweden)

2 red enameled steel wire frames with birch and black stained slats which can be placed as desired

You can set up this shelving according to your own requirements

Watch the incredible details such as the round feet caps and the cove at the back of the bottom, a space for the floor plinth so the shelving system can be put directly to the wall.
The two red shelves mounts are foldable for easy transport

Acquired from first owner who received this wall unit as a gift at his wedding in 1957 bought at Metz & Co

Metz & Co (1902-2013) in Amsterdam (a popular avant-garde Dutch warehouse that was specialized in modern furniture).
